Set in the heart of the Worcestershire Countryside, the Wheelbarrow Castle offers a choice of different dining experiences.

There is a large restaurant which is light, spacious and very open with plenty of windows and a triple aspect outlook so you can dine whilst enjoying the beautiful outdoor surroundings.

Between the bar and restaurant there are additional dining tables of varying sizes to accomodate families and larger parties, typically between 4 to 16 diners. Then, for the more romantic diners or those who simply want a little more privacy, we have several "snug" type area's.
Manager Nigel says " because of our location we are able to source produce from right here on our door step with local fresh vegatables and salad's, all meat produce coming from Ragley Meat Estates renowed for it's excellent taste and quality and home made traditional pub grub - no frozen food in a bag at the Wheelbarrow Castle !

The Wheelbarrow Castle offers something for everyone from a quick business lunch to family celebrations, an afternoon cream tea or even an intimate dinner for two in our many cosy "snug" style corners - whatever the choice you won't be dissapointed.
The new menus are full of variety, from delicious favourites from the grill like succulent steaks to a full blown carvery, wonderful starters and delicious desserts, plus a great bar snack menu, oh and one for the kids. It's definately a winning combination that brings customers back to eat at the Wheelbarrow and Castle time and time again.

Our friendly staff serve lunch and dinner, Monday to Saturday, with a varied menu, vegetarian options, and a daily special. 

On a Sunday we offer a traditional roast carvery served from 12pm to 7pm. We also provide all day breakfasts from 10.00am till 11.30am on a Sunday and from 10.00am till 7-00pm Monday to Saturday.

Such is the popularity of our food, it is always advisable to pre-book.

Coach parties are welcomed. Booking is advised but not essential unless your
coach party requires the Carvery Menu, then we do need advance warning !
